Saint Germainbrings to humanity the understanding and use of the Violet Flame of Transmutation. The Power by which we can with diligence consciously dissolve and consume our misuses of the Pure Energies given to us by our Father/Mother God.

The Heart Of The Matter
The plea of the disciples to the Master, "Lord teach us to pray," is a plea uttered by each and every human heart, at some part of their earthly journey. It may come through physical suffering, heartache or through failure to manifest a great desire. It may come when one is undergoing extreme stress or strain, or battling temptation, or some other pressing situation. However strange it may seem though, a great need to have close communion with the Father, the "I AM THAT I AM"hardly ever comes at first through joy, in times of success and prosperity or when full of youth or health; because at these times we tend to have a sense of security, a strong feeling of being self sufficient. Humanity more often than not, turns to God because some need is realized, a need that cannot readily be met by one's self or any other person in a manner that is truly satisfying. At that moment man's /woman's extremity becomes God's opportunity.
All of humanity travels the path from self to God by the use of prayer. Little by little one learns through practice to relax the physical body in order that the Life and Consciousness of God may flow in and through his living, breathing Temple. To let go of the mental chatter and confusion coming forth from what I prefer to call our board of directors (the human ego) ever clamoring for attention, so that God thoughts may take possession; to shut out sight and sound, human emotion and desire, and rest in the stillness before our Mighty God Presence "I AM"! No one can take such steps for another. Each has to do so independently, in his or her own time and in their own way. Through many and varied experiences one learns the Way. Through forms and creeds, through prayers of many words, through desires and emotions the soul finally learns to eliminate that which is unessential and go directly to the Father-Mother/God, the "Beloved Mighty I AM Presence". Somewhere along the way each one learns to let go of self-sufficiency, through which has come failures, and hold on to the Miracle-working Power of the I AM THAT I AM, the Christ of God within and above us, our only True Ally.
It may take months, years, ages perhaps to become a righteous person whose prayer avails much. By that I mean the right-use-ness of the immutable, unchangeable laws of mind and spirit. However, time is of no importance to the soul who truly sets out to discover the Kingdom. The moment the soul becomes aware of the Divine Plan and its part in completing the Plan, the way is filled with victories, the way is lighted by the Indwelling Christ; and the Angelic Presences, going before to make the way plain. All struggles and trials are swallowed up in victory, forgotten in the joy of knowledge that comes through achievement.
